How to use the bicycle pump?
Before you pump up, you need to loosen the silver ring in the red circle and press it again to ensure smooth ventilation. After the end of the fight, tighten the silver ring in the red circle and tighten it slightly.
The pump is an inflator that draws air into the storage area and then injects or replenishes the air required by various tires and balls. Nowadays, the most common pump is made of stainless steel, mainly because stainless steel has strong oxidation resistance, long service life, no rust, corrosion resistance, deformation resistance, lead-free safety, high hardness, wear resistance, etc. Widely used in a variety of balls, bicycles, motorcycles and so on.
[Introduction]
The pump is divided into: a manual pump, a foot pump, and an electric pump.
There are two types of manual pumps:
1: Old-fashioned inner tube sliding cowhide bowl pump, (difficulty pulling heavy, easy to stain clothes)
2: New type of outer tube sliding wind head type pump (the advantage is that the drawing is light and easy to stain the clothes)
The foot pump is mainly divided into a single cylinder and a double cylinder.
The electric pump is powered by the power source of the car cigarette lighter.
Inflator material: The strongest is the inner and outer steel tube material without glue connection, followed by the aluminum alloy material with glue connection.
Inflator nozzle: Now there are mainly three types of nozzles on the market: 1 American-style nozzle. 2 American mouth connected to English mouth. 3 US, English, French 3 type universal nozzle.
Pump base: mainly divided into 3 kinds, one is common glue bonding, 2 cast iron base, 3 kinds are the latest in the market without glue bonding, (the air pump in the right picture is the base without glue glue Pick up
The pump can pump up tires, balloons, and the like.
[principle]
When using the pump, connect its air outlet pipe to the valve of the bicycle tire. The function of the valve is to allow only air to enter the tire from the pump, and not allow air to flow from the tire into the pump.
The principle of the old-fashioned bowl pump: there is a gap between the piston of the pump and the wall of the cylinder, and there is a concave rubber bowl on the piston. When the piston is pulled up, the volume of air under the piston increases, the pressure decreases, and the piston The air above is squeezed from the rubber bowl to the bottom. When the piston is pressed down, the air volume below the piston is reduced, and the pressure is increased, so that the rubber bowl is pressed against the wall of the tube to prevent air from leaking over the piston, and the piston is continuously pressed downward. When the air pressure is sufficient to open the valve core of the tire, the compressed air enters the tire. At the same time, the air outside the cylinder enters the piston from the gap at the upper end of the cylinder.
The new outer tube sliding pump is the simplest one-way valve. When the outer tube is lifted up, the air enters the air cylinder from the small hole in the middle sleeve of the lower end of the outer tube of the gas cylinder. When the handle is pressed downward, the gas enters the air cylinder through the one-way valve disposed at the top end of the inner tube. The inner tube, along the leather tube into the tire valve!
When the handle is lifted up a second time, the one-way valve is closed, and when it is pressed down again, the air pushes the check valve into the tire.
This is the process of round-trip.
